THUAS shares knowledge, expertise and experiences with the professional field on the local, regional, national and international levels. We do this in various ways. A few examples:

Since THUAS is a networking university of applied sciences, it has entered into a number of strategic partnerships through its four research platforms, aimed at knowledge sharing. Our collaboration with The Hague Security Delta and  Medical Delta are examples of such partnerships. Collaborations with neighbourhood studios bring the school into contact with the city. Examples of this are the WOW Lifestyle Centre and Gym of the Future project. In addition to regional and national partnerships, THUAS also has international partners in Europe, the United States, Brazil, China and other countries.

Our faculties and research groups also collaborate with other organisations, such as the Centre of Expertise for Cyber Security. This is a centre in which companies, government agencies and knowledge institutions work on innovations in cyber security education. In addition, the Sports Management degree programme is part of the Olympic Network and the Faculty of Social Work & Education has signed a covenant with the Stichting Jeugdformaat (a youth services foundation) to organise student internships and employee training.

Sharing expertise

Our lecturers and research groups are eager to share their expertise. They form the link between education, practice and applied research in socially relevant areas. This is done within the research groups and expertise centres.
