Apply before 1 May
Please note: are you already studying at The Hague University of Applied Sciences this year and you want to continue the same study program next year? You will receive information concerning the re-enrolment in June, until then you don't need to do anything.
Before you can start your bachelor programme at The Hague University of Applied Sciences in September 2016, you will first have to apply via Studielink. If you have a Dutch diploma, the application deadline is 31 May 2016. If you only have a non-Dutch diploma, in some cases, you may still be eligible for enrolment after 1 May. However, we advise you to submit your application as soon as possible!
Application in three steps
In order to apply, you will have to complete the following steps:
- Students with a Dutch address:
If you have a Dutch address, and you are registered as a resident in a Dutch municipality, you'll have to log in to Studielink using DigiD. If you do not have a DigiD account, request it first and make sure your DigiD is activated before you continue to step 2. You can request a DigiD account at www.digid.nl, where you’ll also find more information regarding applying for and activating your DigiD. Please note that the application process for your DigiD may take up to one week.
Note: if you already have a Studielink account, you’ll have to convert it (once) in order to log in with your DigiD from then on. Click here to view or download our manual entitled “Convert existing Studielink account to DigiD”.
Students with a foreign address:
If you don't have a Dutch address, you'll have to log in to Studielink with a Studielink account. Click here to view or download our manual entitled “Create a Studielink account (for prospective students with a non-Dutch address)”.
- Now you can apply via www.studielink.nl, even if you have not yet obtained your secondary school diploma.

- 3.After you applied, within a week of your application, The Hague University of Applied Sciences will send you an invitation by email with a link to complete the Study Choice Check online.
Please note: Everyone who has applied before the first of March will receive the Study Choice Check in the first week of March. The Study Choice Check is an online check that assesses the quality of your study choice process.

Once you have completed these steps, you have completed your application for a bachelor programme at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Please note that you will still have to meet all other enrolment requirements (e.g. showing the required documents of your previous education, your language test results etc.) in time, in order to complete your enrolment so you can start your bachelor programme in September. After completing the Study Choice Check, most of the bachelor programmes of The Hague University of Applied Sciences organize activities for a successful start of your study. If your Study Choice Check outcome shows you have oriented sufficiently, you will receive an invitation for these start activities. Also, every bachelor programme has a contact person whom you can contact if you have any further questions after completing the Study Choice Check.
