Research cooperation in Europe: COST ACTION Projects

The research group Urban Ageing participates in three COST Action projects. COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a European network to promote transnational cooperation between researchers across the European continent. It is one of the ways to give shape to the European ambitions of the research group.

The first project is COST Action CA17107 "European Network to connect research and innovation efforts on advanced Smart Textiles" concerning so-called smart textiles. This participation is in line with the knowledge centre Health Innovation.

The second project is COST Action CA17117 "Towards an International Network for Evidence-based Research in Clinical Health Research". This project takes a closer look at evidence-based research. By participating, the research group hopes to draw attention to the methodology of practice-oriented research.

The third project is COST Action CA16226 "Indoor living space improvement: Smart Habitat for older adults". This project takes a closer look at living environments for older adults in the broadest sense.
