In this course you learn the concepts of strategy, the processes involved and the impact of external forces. We include ethical, societal, technical and environmental issues in strategy management, giving you the methods to think at a strategic level. In groups, you will work on a sustainable profitable business and a sustainable supply chain strategy, turning you into a responsible and savvy strategist.
In this Masterclass, the following topics will be addressed:
- SWOT grid and Confrontation Matrix
- Strategic options
- Monopoly, cartel, unethical and illegal strategies
- International strategies
- Impact on finance, marketing and HRM
Strategic Management is a short programme taught on a masters level, and is part of the Master of Business Administration, (MBA). After the last session you are required to hand in an assignment and upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate. This certificate gives you an exemption from this class should you chose to commence with the Master of Business Administration. At the end of the class, you can continue with more master classes from either the MBA, or our other offered master programmes.
The certificate is valid for 5 years. After following a maximum of 4 Masterclasses, you choose if you want to follow the full master programme. Upon registration for the entire master programme you will receive a discount of € 1125 per masterclass-certificate.
The masterclass Strategic Management is a short programme taught on a master level over in 8 sessions over the course of 4 weeks. It is an intensive study of about 90 hours that students complete next to their daily work. Cooperating together with master students, you will be required to attend a classroom session once a week.
