Master International Communication Management - EN (part-time)

At the International Communication Management (MICM) programme, students are immersed in an environment of different perspectives in which they will have a hands-on experience on how different cultures communicate in diverse ways. The MICM programme deals with everything there is to know about international communication, such as corporate reputation, media relations, social media and internal communications.

Study investment

What can you expect?

The MICM part-time programme consists of five terms starting during the first week of September through to mid-June, and starting again for the second year from September till August. Students will follow one class each term, falling on a Friday between 9:00 and 16:00. Students will also be required to attend some other special days throughout the 24 month period for the professional skills seminars.

Structure and courses

Apart from the in-depth material on international communication you will acquire during your studies, the real MICM experience is learning from your peers in the international classroom. MICM students typically differ in terms of occupation and nationality and this always inspires them to discuss burning questions about communication during course lectures. Students find answers on how to use communication during a corporate crisis, for instance, or how to implement a strategy to better a company’s internal relations. In addition to the eight main courses and the thesis project, students also complete five Professional Skills seminars. These seminars, along with the other courses are renewed each year, ensuring that the MICM curriculum remains relevant and reflects overall trends in the marketplace, concluding the programme with the thesis. After graduating from THUAS’ MICM programme, international organisations will be keen to benefit from the knowledge and intercultural outlook you attained.
