Master in International Communication Management

Companies have embraced transparent communication because customers can watch their every move on social media, and brand journalism is now a major source of income for international media. It’s little revolutions like these that beg the question what international communication will look like in the near future. During the Master in International Communication Management (MICM), you will learn how to react to further changes that influence international communication as a whole, and how to use them to your advantage.

Expert meeting

On Thursday 10 November, the Academy of Masters & Professional Courses (M&PC) is holding an Expert Meeting on change management with Prof. dr. Thijs Homan. The Expert Meeting is the network event of the Academy of Masters & Professional Courses.

For the Master in International Communication Management

To study MICM you need a Bachelor’s degree, two years of professional experience (in any field), and a good command of English (see the specific requirements for English proficiency below). Applicants who meet these criteria are then further evaluated according to an admission procedure. This includes an assessment of each candidate’s capacity to succeed in the MICM programme and his or her ability to contribute to MICM’s classroom experience.

Tuition fee, tax benefits

The costs of following the MICM programme are €15,200, for both the full-time programme as well as the part-time programme. This tuition fee allows you to follow MICM classes and exams, receive thesis supervision, and get unlimited access to our library and Internet facilities. However, you will have to buy books yourself. The estimated costs are € 550 - € 700.

You can also pay the tuition fee in instalments. In that case, the price of the programme is € 15,350 and we require an advance payment of € 3,000.

Tax benefit

The Master in International Communication Management is exempt from VAT for Dutch students. Your employer can fully offset training costs against gross results and label them as operating expenses. For (Dutch) private individuals, parts of the training costs are deductible. For more information, call the Dutch Tax Information Line on 0800 – 0543 or visit their website:
