This Masterclass prepares students with the formation of financial statements for decision makers, such as stockholders, suppliers, banks, employees, government agencies, owners, and other stakeholders. You will be familiarized with, and get to know, how to apply a toolkit of concepts, theories, models and methods. Moreover, you will get an understanding of the relevant decisions related to strategic, planning and control and anticipating economic situations concerned with major shifts in the direction of the company. This can include as acquiring new businesses, selling existing businesses, changing the portfolio of products or markets or restructuring the business. Additionally, you will gain insight in the international financial environment and risk diminishing decision making.
In this Masterclass, the following topics will be addressed :

Financial Accounting is a Masterclass which you do in part time, and is part of the Master of Business Administration, (MBA). After the last session you are required to hand in an assignment and upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate. This certificate gives you an exemption from this class should you chose to commence with the Master of Business Administration programme. At the end of the class, you can continue with more master classes from either the MBA, or our other offered master programmes.
The certificate is valid for 5 years. After following a maximum of 4 Masterclasses, you choose if you want to follow the full master programme. Upon registration for the entire master programme you will receive a discount of € 1,125 per masterclass-certificate.
The Masterclass Financial Accounting taught over the course of 8 weeks. It is an intensive study of about 90 hours that students complete next to their daily work. Cooperating together with master students, you will be required to attend a classroom session once a week.
