Profile for Executive Board member reappointment
The new Improved Governance (Higher Education) Act that took effect on 1 January 2017 affects the appointment and reappointment procedure for members of the Executive Board. The focal areas of this new law are quality, transparency and support on the part of the organisation.
The provisions of this law have been translated by The Hague University of Applied Sciences into new procedures for the ‘Appointment of Executive Board President and Member’ and ‘Reappointment of Executive Board President and Member’. Both procedures will be put into practice in 2017 and 2018. The Board of Trustees appoints the president and members of the Executive Board.
The profiles for the Executive Board president and member will be published following the advice of the General Council and determination by the Board of Trustees.
The profile for an Executive Board member serves as the point of departure for the reappointment procedure for a member of the Executive Board and can be found on the Executive Board page. The profile for the Executive Board president will be available shortly.
