26-1 UPDATE evening curfew and possible disturbances
As most of you will be aware: There is unrest in The Hague, and as yet it is uncertain how this will develop.
Today, and for the next few days, The Hague University of Applied Sciences has scheduled some evening exams, as is possible under the framework of the evening curfew. Even though our campuses and their immediate surroundings are safe, we attach great importance to ensuring that our students and staff who have come to the university for exams can also travel back home safely. The disturbances, which have an unpredictable character, bring that into question .
That is why we have decided to cancel the on campus exams on all our campuses that would start after 7.30 pm.
From tomorrow, Wednesday January 27th, until further notice, an alternative will be sought for on campus exams on all four campuses that would continue after 7.00 pm. Our buildings will close at 8.00 pm.
All students affected by this have been or will be informed by their study programme.
Please take care of yourself and each other.
