No further consequences for THUAS following the press conference 3-11

During the press conference of 3 November, Prime Minister Rutte and Minister De Jonge announced additional measures to the existing partial lockdown. These additional measures will take effect Wednesday evening at 10 p.m. and will remain in effect for two weeks.

The additional measures of the partial lockdown have no direct consequences for higher education. Where measures such as the temporary closure of libraries were announced, we have received word from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science that these do not apply to higher education. University libraries may remain open.

The call to work from home as much as possible, however, was repeated and re-emphasised by the Dutch government. The following already applied to THUAS: Staff will work on campus for those tasks that can only be executed on campus and that are necessary to enable physical and online education. As always, you determine which tasks these are, which employees can perform them and how they can do this safely in consultation within the team and with your manager.
