Fake news about the coronavirus (COVID-19) is regularly circulated on social media and WhatsApp. It is therefore extremely important to consult reliable sources for the correct information about the virus and the current situation in the Netherlands.
Consult the websites of The Netherlands National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and the Central Government for current information and guidelines concerning the coronavirus. Consult The Hague University of Applied Sciences’ website for the latest updates about corona and the education at our university. An overview of the websites:
- RIVM - The National Institute for Public Health and the Environment provides information about the current developments and measures concerning the coronavirus. Should you have any questions that you have been unable to find answers to on the RIVM or Central Government’s websites, you can call the RIVM on 0800-1351. This telephone number can be reached daily from 8:00 to 20:00.
- Central Government - The Central Government website contains all the information about the consequences of the coronavirus for education, childcare, employees, employers, businesses, travellers and public transport. It also has the current travel advice per country.
- The Hague University of Applied Sciences - The Hague University of Applied Sciences will also keep you updated about the specific developments and measures here at THUAS concerning the coronavirus.
