Diplomacy failed to prevent the war, yet it may be instrumental in bringing it to an end. At the event, experts on Russian foreign policy, on military affairs, and on negotiation will participate in a panel discussion to shed light on the role of diplomacy in the Ukrainian conflict. Why did the talks between various influential foreign leaders and Russian President Putin fail to prevent the war? Where are the current talks between Ukraine and Russia in Belarus and Turkey headed? What would a negotiated settlement look like?
