A brief presentation will be based on a paper co-authored by ME Foldes, lecturer at THUAS LAW program and member of research group Changing Role of Europe, and CS Kaposvari, epidemiologist and PhD student, University of Pecs, Hungary. The event will feature a discussion on EU action on COVID-19 vaccination and its relevance for national level policy with emphasis on the legal basis and instruments used by the Union in this field. The analysis then moves to the national level by focusing on the case study of Hungary: Following an overview of the legal and regulatory framework for COVID-19 vaccines deployment, the analysis zooms into the sphere of employment. Participants are invited to share and discuss relevant experiences form other countries as well.
