Famous for revealing the EU passport scheme connected to the EU Passport scheme in Malta 5 years ago, Mr. Caruana Galizia has been fighting to inform independantly the Maltese population and international authorities on the Panama papers. This huge project of journalism lead unfortunately to the murder of his mother, the famous Daphne Caruana Galizia in 2017 in a car bomb, which was in all news at that time and shook the Government of the Republic of Malta, EU Member State, and trigger the anger of several speakers on the current situation in Malta, both legally and politically.

The interview will be conducted by Ms. Laura Ferri, advanced LAW student from The Hague University of Applied Sciences, together with Ms. Jessica Galea, Lawyer in Malta and Mr. Aurelien Lorange, Senior Lecturer of the LAW Programme.

The theme will be "Investigative journalism, freedom of press, independance media and fight against impunity, the example of Daphne Caruana Galizia in Malta.
