That’s what The Hague University of Applied Sciences encourages everyone to do. We want to change and improve the world we live in. But that can only happen if we work together, evolve and change ourselves. If we take a critical look at our present and future situation, we will see that we need new perspectives and solutions. We will find them more quickly if we constantly share and learn to apply one another’s insights, skills and methods. If we take a critical look at our present and future situation, we will see that we need new perspectives and solutions.
A world full of challenges!
Sharing makes us better
This is why we advocate students, lecturers and partners to help each other develop into world citizens. These are people who think outside the box and who really stand their ground, so that they can approach problems on the basis of their own conviction. Who realise that their own expertise will make the difference. Who develop and apply creative solutions together with others. The Hague University of Applied Sciences is creating a secure, involved environment in which these world citizens can develop and innovate. So let us share in one another’s development, network and practice. After all, this is how we shape and change our view of the world as well as our knowledge and skills in order to truly add value.
How we do this? Our lecturers, partners and almost 26,000 students from more than 140 different countries are dedicated to that development every day. This is reflected in our current curricula, for example, and is evident from our key research topics such as ‘The Next Economy’, ‘Quality of Life: People and Technology’, ‘Good Governance for a Safe World’, and ‘Learning in a Network Society’, and additionally from our 333 exchange partners and our close collaboration with countries such as Germany, Brazil and China.
An ideal platform
We have campuses in and around The Hague: The Hague itself, Zoetermeer and Delft.
