Negotiating employment conditions

Thursday, 12 March 2020 (7-10 pm)

Graduating? Just graduated and looking for a job? Or not totally happy with your current job? Are you considering taking the plunge and becoming self-employed? Then you don't want to miss this training session!

The expression 'knowledge is power’ certainly applies to the job search process. You will only achieve the best results if you know how this process works and how you can influence it. During the Negotiations training, you will learn the following:

  • What is the difference between an employment contract (employee) and an engagement agreement (ZZP or independent contractor)
  • What are employment conditions and which ones do you have? How do you negotiate the right hourly rate?
  • How do you determine the value of a position, either as a staff member or as an independent contractor?
  • How do you determine and obtain your personal market value?
  • How do you behave during a negotiation meeting? We will discuss meeting strategies.
  • Tips and tricks for the negotiation process.

After this training you will have the necessary knowledge and self-confidence to go into a negotiation.
