Are you ready for the first step in your career?  It’s of course exciting and great but it can be quite a challenge to find a suitable working environment. How do you make sure you stand out above the rest? How do you present yourself and ensure that recruiters put your CV on top of the pile? And how do you choose an organization that really suits you? A little help from us ensures you will soon be applying for jobs without the stress.

The recruitment consultants at Exact Personeelsintermediair select the best candidates for demanding employers every day. They, like no other, can inform and advise you about employers’ wishes and how you can respond to them in a smart way.

In this job application training, you will definitely get answers to the following questions:
How do you compile a CV that allows your capacities to shine? 

  • How do you create a good impression on social media?
  • How can you find out whether the organization matches your ambitions and expectations?
  • How do you formulate a great-sounding cover letter?
  • How do you formulate your knowledge and experience so it matches the vacancy?
  • How do you prepare for the job interview
  • How should you present yourself during the introduction?
  • What actions should you take to stay in the picture even after the interview?
  • How to check straight away whether you have correctly applied all the do’s and don’ts.

After the training you can send your CV and cover letter to us and we will provide feedback geared to your specific situation. The result: after this training you will know how to present yourself and your strengths in the best possible way to successfully stand out and actually get your foot in the door at the company of your choice.

The training session will be held in English

For whom

Alumni and graduating students of The Hague University of Applied Sciences.


You are welcome from 6.30 pm for a cup of tea or coffee. We will start the training session at 7 pm and the main programme will end at 9.30 pm. After the session we will walk over to Café Xieje for a drink (until 10.00 pm).


The training session will be held on the main campus of The Hague University of Applied Sciences.


We request that participants pay a small contribution for the training session: € 10,00 for graduating students. You will receive:

  • training
  • coffee/tea
  • drinks at the networking get-together after the training

If you register for all 3 training sessions, (20 February, 5 March and 12 March) the overall price is € 25,00.

The deadline to register for this training session is Wednesday, 19 February 2020.

Please note: Your participation fee will not be refunded if you are unable to attend. We require a minimum of 20 registrations to hold the training session. The participation fee will be refunded if the training session is cancelled due to a lack of registrations. 


About the trainer 

Charlene Asgarali is Recruitment Coordinator at Exact Personeelsintermediair. After studying HEAO Communication she started working charlene_asgaralias recruiter directly because she loves the professional dynamics. In the past 11 years, she has experienced all the developments in the recruitment sector and also worked as a senior recruitment consultant in London for a year. She, like no other, therefore knows how to put herself in the shoes of employers and can quickly translate their wishes into the perfect candidate. Her network consists of professionals in finance, commerce, marketing and office management.The training will also be attended by Charlene’s recruiter colleagues.
