Introduction
The courses (generally 6-week modules and 1 week intensive) are taught in English. A lot of attention will be paid to international developments in Facility Management. Foreign lecturers will integrate examples derived from their native countries into their courses. The "Exchange Project EXPO" also contributes to the international orientation of the course. A more detailed description of the modules follows hereunder.
Content
Learning method
The International Semester consists of theory and practical assignments and theoretical schooling. During the theoretical part, workshops and lectures prepare students for the practical assignment. The students also have the chance to consult experts.

In addition to the theoretical education, students put theory into practice in a practical assignment carried out in groups of 4 to 6 students. The project has an innovative and international character and public relevance. Dutch international business has a prominent position. EXPO focuses on Health Care institutes and the Cure & Care side. A professional coach supervises each project group.

A self administered English test is conducted during the first week of the International Semester..

Depending on the student’s programme at the home university, the student may opt to follow only the first half of the programme. In that case the practical assignment will be adapted. The shortened programme will take 10 weeks and the student will gain 15 ECTS.
Prerequisites
A-levels. Educational and/or professional experience in the field of facility management, hospitality management or service management is an advantage. The programme starts every half year, in February and September. At least 12 participants are required for the programme to take place
