The Hague University             Bachelor Studies

Why study with us?

More and more people have Bachelor’s degrees these days. If you want to compete in the professional world, whatever your industry, it’s practically a prerequisite. But it’s not just about picking up skills, or knowledge. A Bachelor’s is an important part of your personal development, too. You’ll learn to look at the world in ways you never even imagined before.

But what sets our Bachelor’s apart?

International outlook

The world is becoming increasingly globalised. That’s why all of our courses place a great deal of emphasis on the international context. There’s a diverse community on campus, with students and staff from more than 135 different nationalities. You’ll work on projects for international companies, here in The Hague and abroad. And we send hundreds of students to study and work abroad every year, as part of their programme.

Hands-on experience

Even at the Bachelor’s level, we expect our students to be active, independent, self-motivated learners. On top of lectures and training, you’ll work on group projects, look at real-life scenarios and work with real companies. As part of our Talent Development programme, you’ll also help tutor and mentor other students, on campus and in local schools and community colleges.

Shape your own studies

On our Bachelor’s courses, you have the freedom here to choose subjects that suit your career ambitions. There are about 46 study programmes, in total. As well as a major, you can also choose to minor – specialising in a particular field. You’re completely in control (with help and support from your supervisors).

Life after your Bachelor’s

After you’ve got your degree, the possibilities are endless. You could continue your studies with a Master’s degree – here at The Hague, or with one of our 150 partner institutions, worldwide. Or you could jump straight into a rewarding career. You’ll find lots of household names recruiting, right here on campus. And our alumni network opens you up to job opportunities in all kinds of countries.
