Major-minor

You can choose a ‘minor’ subject to specialise in, to make your degree more targeted to the kinds of careers and opportunities you want. You can specialise in your own field, to deepen your knowledge. Or you can minor in something completely different, like management, to broaden your job opportunities.

In your final year, you can choose a ‘ribbon’ minor – either an in-depth corporate project, another specialisation, or a pre-Master’s course. The pre-Master’s course is run jointly with the Delft University of Technology – (TU Delft) the perfect preparation for a Master’s in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Life Science and Technology.
