The Hague University             Bachelor Studies

Structure

We offer a four-year programme, as well as a fast track three-year intensive course, in Process and Food Technology.

Every year is divided into 2 semesters, and each semester into terms. You’ll be assessed at the end of each term in some way – by a test, report, project or presentation. You’ll be marked on how well you work as part of a group, too.

Study time

Every week, you’ll spend no more than 15 hours in class. But you’ll be expected to put in a full 40 hours of study every week – working on projects, preparing for classes and exams.

Credits

For each part of the programme you complete, you’re awarded a mark. If your mark is 6 (out of 10) or higher, you get credits. To graduate, you need 240 credits, in total.
